n Join others from 4 to 9 p.m. Feb. 14 at Pizza Hut Duncansville for a library “Fun-Raiser Night.” Pizza Hut will donate 20% of the sales generated that night to the library. Dine in, carry out or delivery. Watch the library’s Facebook page for more details.

n The library will host local award-winning author and poetess Trisha McKee at 5 p.m. Feb. 18. She will share excerpts from her latest works following a book signing. Limited quantities are available. Contact the library for more information.

n A free computer class will be held at 1 p.m.

Feb. 18. Tom Robison will answer general questions about the ownership and use of personal computers and explain how to make computer use more enjoyable and understandable. He will discuss how to purchase new electronics. Take your own computer questions. If you have a lap-top, this would be a good class to charge it up and take it along. n Knitting and Crochet will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesdays. Whether you have been knitting for decades or just days, join this welcoming group.

n Toddler Time Story Hour will be held at 10:30 a.m. Mondays. Join Miss Cortney every Monday for stories, games, dancing and fun.

n Troop 43009 Girl Scouts will meet at 6 p.m. Mondays. Girl Scouts of Western PA Hosts. Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and Cadets meet on the lower level of the library.

n Rockin at the Library will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursdays. This is a drop-in for rock painting. This is not a structured class but a drop-in do-it-yourself program. There will be a guest rock painter from time to time. The library will supply the paint, brushes and rocks.

n “Ask a Career Planner” will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 4. A career planner from PA Career Link will answer all job search questions. Find out about online job searches, interview tips, resume help and more. Call the library at 224-2994 or message the library to reserve a time slot.

n “Balancing PH” will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 20. Join Victoria from Little Rock Natural Remedies as she talks about how to understand and balance PH the natural way.

n Sam’s Club Signups will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 10. A representative will be available to renew existing memberships and sign up for new ones.

n “Hospice 101” will be held at 5 p.m. Feb. 25. Team members from Kindred Hospice will present information on hospice care, dispel common myths about hospice, answer questions and discuss volunteer opportunities. Light refreshments will be provided.

n February is “Love Your Library Month.” Visit participating local businesses to donate spare change to support the Roaring Spring Community Library.
