Wow. It’s a darn good thing we had natural gas to heat our homes in recent days. Can we assume that the 97%ers went outside and shut off the valve at the gas meter to show their support for solar power?
For you climate haters, try Google, a wonderful new search engine. The 97% thing was debunked and thrown in the trash a long time ago.
It might come as a shock to those who say we have less than 12 years to live, but a constantly changing climate is a very good thing. We adapt as needed to changing conditions. When a caveman got cold, he saw that bigger stronger more dangerous animals had better and warmer fur.
This encouraged him to make sharper spears and better weapons to obtain better food and clothing. More people wanted and needed to travel, so Ford developed mass production. We consumers demanded and needed better communication, so lo and behold, the miracle of the cellphone. People saw Stone Age home remedies worked, so we now have fantastic health care. I have skipped a few steps, but you get my drift.
Without climate constantly changing, we would have no need to change, adapt, invent or progress. Why leave a nice, cool, safe cave, waiting for some animal to get hit with a rock? Why not stay in a nice hit steamy jungle with all the bugs and rats you can eat? Why build a pipeline when we can just run out and look for a few dead branches for a fire that pollutes while we sit close in our rabbit skins?
A constantly changing climate forced us to adapt and improve ourselves.
Our civilization is where it is mainly because of our ability to adapt to a changing climate. It doesn’t matter how much Trudeau and Horgan increase their Carbon Tax scam, they will never turn into a god with the ability to control and manipulate climate.
On that subject, just what is the perfect climate? Vancouver, Moscow, Hawaii, Bahrain, Thule, Paris, Denver, New Delhi, Addis Ababa, Smithers?
Which one. Quick, which one?
